Message From the Vice President of the Division of Student Development

The Student Development team is dedicated to supporting all students at Fresno Pacific University. We work hard to ensure that students are provided with opportunities to grow and develop. There are many ways you can become involved in the life of Fresno Pacific University.  You will have the opportunity to engage with outstanding initiatives such as intramural sports, student activities, international and intercultural programs, spiritual development activities, residence hall & commuter programming, and career development opportunities, just to name a few.

A primary goal of FPU’s co-curricular program is to see students grow in their knowledge and experience of Christ. Wherever you are in your journey, whether you have been a Christian your entire life or you are just exploring who God is, we want to connect, serve, and journey with you in ways that are genuine and meaningful. You matter at FPU!

The Division of Student Development at Fresno Pacific University exists to help foster a vibrant Christian community through offering fun and meaningful engagement opportunities as well as co-curricular programs designed to holistically develop students. This is accomplished through the efforts of experienced, caring, and dedicated professional staff who are devoted to the growth and development of all FPU students.

As FPU students, there are more than 100 student leadership positions available to you. Whether you work as a Resident Assistant, Peer Mentor, Commuter Assistant, or Student Government Officer, you will gain knowledge and skills that will serve you for a lifetime. Furthermore, as a leader on a faith-based campus, you will be challenged to foster an attitude and lifestyle marked by spiritual maturity and service to those in need.

While you are here at FPU, take time to find those things that you are passionate about. Take some calculated risks and step out of your comfort zone. Attend a program that is unlike anything you have seen before. Develop courage by pursuing new challenges and experiences. Our belief is that God will meet you in these new adventures and that you will grow a lot in the process. We are excited to journey with you!
