Occasionally, staff, faculty, and coaches will submit student care reports, to the Student Care Team, when they believe a student may need extra support from the campus community. The Student Care Team will follow-up with the appropriate support services area, such as but not limited to Academic Advising, Campus Chaplain, Disability Access & Education, Pacific Counseling Center or Residence Life, who then may contact the student to offer support. A Student Care Team member may also reach out directly to the student to provide support and referrals. This support is recommended for the success of the student but is not required. This information is kept confidential under FERPA, and is only shared with appropriate, need to know, university employees. This supportive process is not related to the university’s Behavioral Values & Expectations Restorative Discipline process or Title IX Supportive Measures processes. To receive Supportive Measures under Title IX, please contact the Title IX Coordinator or submit a report on-line here: Discrimination, Harassment, Sexual Misconduct (DHSM), and Title IX (TIX), DHSM and TIX Reports.
